WeatherLok Insulated Glass Warms Up Any Decor

Many offer "insulated" glass, with standard metal spacers between panes. However, The warm-edge system found in WeatherLok windows is much different. It's hidden within the frame of each window and door we make. And while you can't see it working, you can feel its unsurpassed thermal efficiency.

The insulated glass spacer with "warm-edge" design, is a one-piece steel U-channel scientifically designed to create maximum thermal resistance. It effectively keeps heat and cold from traveling through the window. During cold months, the glass perimeter stays warmer, so there's less condensation. During the summer, the surface stays cooler. And the U-channel spacer flexes during temperature changes, relieving stress on the sealant and minimizing glass movement.

The result is more comfortable home temperatures year-round, and bigger energy savings.

And, now, the WeatherLok 3500 boasts the Super Spacer® nXt Warm-Edge Sealing System. This industry leading spacer system offers reduced condensation, long-lasting durability, less seal failure and fewer stress cracks.

Low-E Glass with Argon Gas

Low-E glass is a virtually invisible coating of silver that reflects radiant solar energy while permitting visible light to pass through.

In cold winter climates, Low-E glass helps keep rooms warmer by reflecting heat back into the home while letting warm, solar rays in. In hot summer temperatures, Low-E glass blocks infrared and ultraviolet radiant solar energy, so rooms stay cooler and you can save on precious energy costs.

Argon is a clear, odorless gas that's heavier than air and is added between the double panes of glass for even greater insulation and noise buffering.

Ultra Low-E Glass with Argon Gas

(may be required for Energy Star rating)

Windows with this optional glass treatment offer superior thermal performance by combining three layers of silver coating with the insulating power of argon. This glass option is designed to meet stringent energy code criteria anywhere low thermal numbers are desired.

All WeatherLok Windows and Doors may be ordered to meet Energy Star requirements.
